We take part in the actions organised by InitiaDROIT, a French non-profit organisation which seeks to raise awareness among pupils concerning the role played by the law in their day-to-day lives. The association organise presentations of volunteer lawyers in the classrooms and get pupils thinking about their rights, their duties and the meaning and usefulness of rules in order to live successfully as part of a community. The topics are tailored to the age of pupils and include, for example, the rights and obligations of minors, the Internet and social media, anti-social behaviour, harassment, secularity, life at work, etc.
We play an active role in the French Heritage Society, a non-profit organisation which seeks to preserve France's national heritage both in France and in the United States by raising funds for restoration, preservation and cultural grants. French Heritage Society also acts to transmit and safeguard the skills, knowledge, and love of heritage through hands-on transatlantic internships for university students and cross-cultural professional exchanges.
