Mathieu advises on public contracts (public procurement, public domain), from the award procedure itself to the monitoring of contract performance.

He advises companies, local authorities and public establishments and represents them in court in sectors including energy, transport, construction and public works, defence and healthcare.

Mathieu has particular expertise in mining law. He supports economic stakeholders in the implementation of their mining projects, helping them obtain mining permits, authorisations for mining work or with the filing of site launch declarations, and represents them in litigation relating to the granting of environmental authorisations.

Mathieu acts for and represents public entities and civil servants on matters relating to the law applicable to the civil service.

More generally, he advises on all aspects of public law: administrative liability, law relating to territorial local authorities, planning, public property, public finance and regulations.

Before leaving to create Rollin Prats, Mathieu practiced law for 11 years with the law firms KGA Avocats and Reinhart Marville Torre.
